Origin and Properties of the Ingredients

    • Olive Soap: Derived from century-old olive groves in Mediterranean countries like Italy, Spain, and Greece, the olive oil is extracted through mechanical processes such as pressing and centrifugation. This soap, made through saponification with potassium hydroxide, is the main component of Sonett’s Olive Laundry Liquid for Wool and Silk. Olive oil provides mild, moisturizing properties that help restore the skin’s natural protective barrier.

    • Rapeseed/Sunflower Oil Soap: Made from vegetable oils saponified with potassium hydroxide, this strengthens the detergent’s washing performance. Rapeseed and sunflower oil are sustainably grown in temperate Central Europe, and certified organic.

    • Ethanol: Sourced from the fermentation of starch-rich plants like maize and potatoes, ethanol helps keep the detergent liquid and enhances its fat-dissolving capabilities.

    • Sugar Surfactant: Derived from sugar, starch, and coconut oil, this ingredient helps prevent calcium soap deposits in hard water by dispersing them, ensuring they don't accumulate on the laundry.
